This art exhibition by the Irish artist Roger Cummiskey will take place during September until 10th October 2015.
The selection of eleven paintings demonstrate a cross section of abstract interpretations of life in Spain. Summer themes dominate.
The location is the Golfer Sports Bar in Marbella. This is a very popular venue for not only sporting enthusiasts but also for art lovers and appreciators as well as people interested in talking!

5th Bloomsday Bathe on the Beach, Malaga – Spain.
For the fifth year we are planning a simple reading, swim or paddle off the beach on Bloomsday this year on Sunday, 14th June. Our event is a little different in that the readers are encouraged to read their pieces in their own language. This is a fun, non intellectual nor threatening event.
And it is FREE. All that is required is that you turn up on time to participate. It will be a memorable occasion. A fun get together! But you must bring your own copy of Ulysses. We will be reading from Chapter 2 and 4. Download from the internet in your own language.
Where: The Beach, Fuengirola, Paseo Marítimo Rey de España, 29640 Fuengirola, Málaga, Spain. Opposite Hotel Florida, beside La Cepa Playa. Bring a beach chair or towel or you can sit on the sand!

Original oil and watercolour paintings by Roger Cummiskey.
Roger is President of the AIA – Andalusian International Artist Group. He lives in Mijas Costa and Dublin.
This exhibition features a mixture of oil and watercolour interpretations based on the writings and wanderings of James Joyce.
The AIA was formed in November 2004.
The exhibition opens 04 June and continues until 30 June, 2015.

The Exhibition.
This new exhibition features artworks by two members of the Andalusian International Artists Group will remain open until the 27th of November, 2013.
The husband and wife team from Ireland and Mijas Costa exhibit different techniques and styles, including original oil paintings on canvas and water-colour paintings as well as intricate needle-point cross stitch.
The gallery owners welcomed the two artists back, congratulated them for the quality of the exhibits, and highlighted the good work being done by the AIA.

This event will consist a non-intellectual, fun get together providing the opportunity to become fully immersed in – sea water.

07.45: Beach assembly.
08:00: Divest and dive into “the snot green scrotum tightening sea” – heated by the Spanish summer sunshine.
08:30: Readings lead off followed up by voluntary readings by like-minded female and male participants in English and Spanish wearing varieties of various costumes and hats.
09:00- 9:30: Had enough? OK, then lets Swim or Dip again before adjourning to a local Chiringito (La Cepa Playa) for toast, olive oil and coffee.

A solo exhibition of paintings in oil and watercolour by Dublin Artist Roger Cummiskey at the new restaurant La Vita è Bella in Fish Alley, Fuengirola.
The new restaurant opened on May 18th with the owner Vito Froio presenting not only excellent Italian and Spanish cuisine but also a selection of over 20 paintings by the locally based artist, Roger Cummiskey.
Vito says “Mi casa es su casa”. Come and join me to enjoy the beautiful food that I create and admire the magnificent paintings. You will not be disappointed!"
